Question: 2007 suzuki xl7 oil light?

I have a 2007 suzuki and lately whenever I make a sharp turn and brake hard I get a message in my DIC that says "oil pressure low stop engine the light then goes off immediately. I've checked my oil level and its fine, but I'm concerned. The book says this might happen but it has never happened before. Does anyone have any ideas on what this is, or what's causing it. thanks

Oil pump getting weak. or oil filter getting clogged up.

When did u have ur oil changed last?......cas if it was in last day or 2 u might have some air trapped in sensor...... if its been a wile and its over due u might have trash in sensor........or it might b a wire going bad or sensor going bad........or possibly ur oil pump going bad........

Try putting 1/ 2 a litre extra oil in and see if the problem continues.If the light does not come back on you may have a oil pick up that is loose or cracked.hope this helps

Please check oil leve before first start of the day. If u check after circulating, its not accurate. If u think its the pump, I doubt it, considered ur pump is mechanic, not electric. My opinion, its ur filter, its getting dirty and the dirt make the oil got stuck. Or it could caused by a dirty oil, and the dirt gor trap in the filter.
